HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Riverside Capital Management Group donated to Youth First to provide mental health support and substance misuse prevention for youth in Catholic Diocese schools.

“We want to ensure that every family can rely on a Youth First Mental Health Professional when needed…crisis or not,” says Jim Back, Managing Partner at Riverside Capital Management Group, when explaining why he values supporting Youth First. “Just like we believe in empowering our clients with financial knowledge and confidence to help them pursue their life goals, Youth First is empowering young people with skills and strong mindsets every day. This contribution is to help ensure those services don’t go away.”

According to Youth First, Riverside Capital Management Group has invested in the health and well-being of Indiana youth and families by putting in place a matching fund of $100,000 for donations to Youth First. Each year for five years, Riverside Capital Management Group will match up to $20,000 in donations to Youth First for programs and services in the agency’s 26 partner schools within the Diocese of Evansville. This matching fund was celebrated at a check presentation held on August 8 at Youth First’s office located in downtown Evansville.

Youth First says it partners with school districts across Indiana to embed mental health professionals in school buildings, where they become specialized mentors for students and prevention coaches for parents and teachers. Youth First Mental Health Professionals build relationships, foster readiness for positive change and boost resiliency along with equipping students with life skills.
