HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Henderson Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 200 block of South Ingram Street Sunday morning.

Assistant Chief Willie Curry says the initial call came in around 6 a.m. and crews were able to extinguish the fire before it caused any interior damage.

According to a post on social media, HFD went into “quick fire attack mode” and was able to keep the fire in the area of its origin which can be seen pictured below.

It is said no injuries were reported and the occupants were outside upon HPD’s arrival.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time as it is currently being investigated.
