HENDERSOON, Ky, (WEHT) — Evansville’s first ever Nacho Week has been postponed to November after originally being planned for the week of August 25.

Evansville Events posted to Facebook to say Nacho Week has been moved to November 17th through 23rd.

Eyewitness News reached out to Joe Notter with Evansville Events to see why the event was postponed.

“We piled a few things on with a new festival in the forefront, Evansville Pickle Festival planned for September 7th in addition to the 4th annual Evansville Labor Day Run on September 2nd. We believe pushing nacho week out a few months will allow us to be a better support to our local restaurants,” says Notter.

Notter says any restaurant looking to find more information about upcoming food weeks, can email him at joenotter7@gmail.com.
