HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says both southbound lanes of I-69 in Hopkins County are reopened after an overturned commercial vehicle spilled scrap metal near the 106-mile marker.

An update given by KYTC just before 11 a.m. says the blockage was on the Western Kentucky Parkway eastbound ramp towards the southbound Pennyrile Parkway.

Officials state responders were able to get one lane open to help clear traffic, but both lanes had to be blocked again to continue and complete cleanup efforts.
