New connections made after 2 bodies were found at Ellis Park

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – As the investigation continues on the two men found dead overnight on Ellis Park property, The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office discuss how the men were connected and how they died.

Officials say dispatch received a call at 12:30 a.m. early Tuesday morning that a man was unresponsive in the stables area of Ellis Park.

Lieutenant Brooks Young with the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office says they discovered a second body.

Both males were found in their apartments, which is the near the stables, on the back side of Ellis Park property.

Young says the two males are believed to have been in contact with each other earlier that night.

Sheriff’s officials say initially there is believed to be no foul play.

Both bodies have been transported to Louisville for an autopsy.

Ellis Park says, due to this being an active investigation, they were unable to comment.
