    New restaurant offers sneak peek inside

    HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — A taste of the Mediterranean is coming soon to downtown Newburgh.

    A new restaurant will soon open on the riverfront in the former location of The Landing.

    According to social media posts , Marida is expected to open sometime in September.

    Staff offered a look inside before the restaurant’s opening.

    The restaurant shared pictures of some menu items on social media, including Turkish dumplings and kebobs.

    The location on Water Street used to be occupied by The Landing, which closed in 2023.
