Trial set for one of two men in deadly beating case

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – A jury trial date has been set for a man accused in his part of a brutal beating back in June.

Cade Kirk has his trial date set for February 3, 2025.

Kirk and another man, Charles Miles, allegedly attacked Corey Fisher as he was leaving a Sunoco gas station on East Louisiana Street before allegedly beating him on East Tennessee Street.

Evansville Police say brass knuckles played a big part in the crime. Police also say Miles claimed Fisher sent nude and inappropriate photos of himself to his wife, which upset him.

Fisher ended up passing away.
