Benefit dinner scheduled for woman killed in accident

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – A benefit dinner is scheduled in honor of a woman killed in an accident last month.

According to a flyer, the dinner will be held in honor of Kelzie Canary. She was 28 years old and left behind four children.

Canary passed away on August 27 after a single vehicle accident on Martin Avenue just after 10 p.m. Proceeds will go directly to Canary’s funeral expenses.

Doors will open at 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 7 with dinner being served at 5 p.m. Dinner with a drink is $15 with donations welcome via cash or Venmo.

The location is at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 5130 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville.
