HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – Three juveniles have been arrested in connection to multiple auto thefts and a burglary from back in July.

The Owensboro Police Department states officers were able to identify the suspects with the assistance of detectives and took the juveniles into custody on Tuesday.

Their names are not being released due to them being under 18.

OPD states officers determined that three cars were stolen and a fourth that had the steering column damaged was connected.

OPD also states all three juveniles were charged for their involvement in the thefts and for damages sustained during the fourth attempted theft. Two of the juveniles were also charged with burglary of a Super A Food Mart.

The same two juveniles face Criminal Mischief charges after they allegedly returned to the Super A Food mart on August 20 and destroyed the front door.
