Man accused of molesting eight-year-old multiple times

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – An Evansville man is in custody accused of molesting an eight-year-old girl multiple times.

According to an affidavit, the victim was brought to Holly’s House at the end of February for an interview.

The victim claimed Brent Harris, 30, committed inappropriate acts multiple times against her.

EPD says they tried to get a hold of Harris the following month to talk to him. Harris allegedly said his attorney advised him not to talk.

Court records show the case was opened back in March, and a warrant was subsequently issued. Harris was booked into jail at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. He is being held on a $100,000 bond.
