Who’s in the News? Payton Ford

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Payton Ford, graduate from Kentucky Wesleyan College, is the owner of Ghostly Productions in Owensboro which opened in 2020.

Ghostly Productions is a Halloween shop featuring masks, props and more. They specialize in custom creations.

The Owensboro native says he wants customers to feel like they are stepping into a “time capsule” every time they step into the shop, as if they were walking into a movie.

Ford tells us about the creation of the business, what the off-season looks like for the shop and his dream celebrity guest appearances for their events.

The shop is gearing up for their annual Halloween kickoff Saturday night where stunt actor, Lee Waddell, from the first two Scream films will be appearing.
