Accident on Hwy 60 sends pickup truck to a cornfield

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Henderson Fire Department is at the scene of an accident with injuries on Highway 60 involving a pickup truck in a cornfield.

Dispatch says the initial call came in at 4:29 p.m. about an accident with injuries.

Officials say the accident happened across from Pebble Creek Apartments. Eyewitnesses reportedly told crews a pickup truck ran through two fences and came to a stop in a cornfield.

Dispatch says the scene was cleared at approximately 5:43 p.m. and authorities on scene say only one person is facing serious injuries at this time. More information to come.
