Veterans group to commemorate 9/11 with stair climb in Evansville

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A group of local veterans and first responders are commemorating 9/11 with a climb up thousands of stairs.

On Wednesday morning, Mission First will be climbing the exact number of stairs in the World Trade Center at Fifth Third Bank in downtown Evansville. Two of those climbers, Erik Goode and Paul Linberg, joined Shelley Kirk in the Eyewitness News studio on Tuesday.
