Stabbing investigation in Owensboro leaves 3 injured

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – One suspect is in custody after an adult male was found with a stab wound in Owensboro early Sunday morning.

Officers with the Owensboro Police Department responded to a disturbance near West 6th Street around 3:30 a.m. when they found one adult male with a stab wound. It is said they also found two other adult males sustaining minor injuries.

After a thorough investigation, officers charged 24-year-old Lizandro Dominguez with assault. Police say Dominguez was admitted and treated at the hospital for injuries sustained during the assault.

Dominguez is currently lodged at the Daviess County Detention Center.
