    Suspect on the loose after Evansville shooting leaves one injured

    EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred on the 1700 block of Red Bank Road that left one person injured. While one suspect is in custody, officers are currently searching for at least one suspect on foot.

    Dispatch says the initial call came in at 6:37 p.m. in reference to shots fired.

    An officer on the scene confirms the victim was shot on South Red Bank Road and the suspects traveled down the 3900 block of Broadway Avenue where one of them was apprehended. It is said at least one suspect fled the scene on foot, which initiated a search.

    Officers are utilizing K9 units and drones to aid in the search for the suspects. Below are photos of the scenes at both Red Bank Road and Broadway Avenue.

    Police say that one person was taken in for questioning, but has since been released.

    well now it's started on that part of eville also if they would start a mandatory 20 or better for shooting at someone or shooting them I think might slow down
