One arrested in connection to weekend stabbing in Owensboro

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- A man in Owensboro is charged with assault in a stabbing that happened over the weekend.

Owensboro Police say that Lizandro Dominguez was arrested on Tuesday after an investigation into the incident. Officers say they were called to the area of Jed Place and West 6th Street around 3:30 Sunday morning. They say once they arrived, they found a man with a stab wound and 2 others with minor injuries. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Dominguez is now being held in the Daviess County Jail.
