2 Firefighters sent to the hospital after fire at Pike’s Mattress in Evansville

EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT) — A massive fire has been reported at Pike’s Mattress just off the Lloyd Expressway in the 200 block of West Division Street in Evansville.

Two fire fighters have been sent to the hospital due to heat exhaustion. Officials have not given an update on their condition.

Officials say Division Street, as well as the exit ramp from the Lloyd onto Division Street is closed.

Officials have not yet said how the building caught fire.

The fire can be seen by Eyewitness News’s Evansville Tower Cam .

An Eyewitness News crew is heading to the scene.
