    EPD arrest two 11-year-olds over alleged social media threats

    HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Evansville Police Department announced the arrest of an 11-year-old female over the weekend following an investigation into threats about gun violence at a local school.

    According to a release from EPD, search warrants were obtained, parents were contacted and the juvenile was arrested on Sunday and placed into a secured facility. Police say the juvenile admitted to creating a fake social media account and posting a threat to shoot up a school. The juvenile was charged with felony intimidation.

    During their investigation, police say they uncovered another 11-year-old involved in making the threat online. The second juvenile was charged with conspiracy to commit intimidation.

    Authorities have confirmed to Eyewitness News that the arrests were made in connection to threats made about McGary Middle School .

    I agree with you about the points you bring up. But on the other hand the way the world works today it’s hard to always be there as a parent maybe if the government could control the cost living and make things affordable again maybe parents could be more often
