Wathen Lane road closure to begin in Henderson

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The City of Henderson has announced a month-long road closure on Wathen Lane.

Officials say the road will be closed from Hillmont Drive to the entrance driveway of 6781 Wathen Lane due to roadway grading work including the relocation of power poles. The closure is expected to last from September 23 to October 21.

It is said residents of Wolf Hills and the Hills neighborhood will need to detour to enter or exit at the Hillmont Drive intersection at Wathen Lanes, while residents north of the closure will have to enter or exit towards Green River Road and U.S. Highway 41 North.

Officials say traffic control signage will be in place to direct traffic.
