HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Owensboro Parks and Recreation has announced the completion of renovations at Cravens Pool, with a grand opening event set for September 20.

Officials say the celebration kicks off with a ribbon cutting at 11:00 a.m., followed by a public swim. The pool’s new features include a multi-level play structure, a water table, a water curtain and three cascading buckets, along with an aqua zip and a floating octopus. Additionally, the updated space offers shaded areas both on the deck and in the pool.
