HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – A motorcyclist was flown to an out-of-state hospital following a crash with a car in Madisonville.

According to the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office, at 5:47 a.m. on Wednesday, officials received a complaint of a motor vehicle collision involving injury in the 500 block of Elva Road.

Investigation revealed that a driver of a Honda Accord was traveling north while 34-year-old Justin Conrad was traveling south. Conrad was reportedly riding a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle.

Officials state the two took a curve and hit each other, resulting in Conrad needing to be flown to an out-of-state hospital by helicopter. Officials did not list the extent of Conrad’s injuries.
