Owensboro Police searching for missing woman and child

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- The Owensboro Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman last seen with her 3 year-old daughter.

Owensboro Police say they are looking for Brooke Lascallett and her 3 year-old daughter, Ava Devore. Brooke is believed to be operating a black Dodge Journey SUV with a Kentucky plate J6P848.

Police say that Lascallett may be suffering from a mental health issue, and is believed to have been involved in a police pursuit with Breckenridge County Sheriff’s Deputies on Wednesday night. The pursuit was terminated for safety issues, and the circumstances surrounding Brooke and Ava’s disappearance are being investigated.
