HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC), all lanes of I-69 are blocked near exit 135 in Webster County, which leads to KY 56, and exit 140, which leads to KY 416, in Henderson County by a crash.

Officials say vehicles are being allowed past the scene on the shoulders in both directions. The entrance ramp to SB I-69 from KY 56 or exit 140 in Henderson County is blocked as well as the entrance ramp to NB I-69 from KY 416 or exit 135 in Webster County.

    Both lanes have since reopened.

    UPDATE 1

According to Henderson Emergency Management, I-69 north and south will be detoured at the Sebree and Robards’s exits until further notice due to an interstate shutdown.

Officials say this is in place so crews can clean up the highway after a semi crash hauling chicken parts. There were no injuries in the crash.

Officials expect the detour to be in place until approximately 6 p.m..
