HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Tri-State counties are lifting burn bans following recent rain.

The Warrick County Commissioners have decided to lift the burn ban for Warrick County. This decision was the result of recent rainfall and anticipated wet weather patterns.

According to this website , Spencer County has also lifted its burn ban. Meanwhile, in Kentucky, officials say only McLean County is under a burn ban.

    UPDATE 1

The Vanderburgh County Commission has lifted a burn ban on September 24, following recent rain. This comes not long after Henderson County lifted its own burn ban.

    ORIGINAL

People in Henderson County, Kentucky can once again burn brush and yard debris outside thanks to recent wet weather.

Henderson County Judge Executive Brad Scheider rescinded the burn ban order Tuesday morning after steady rain Monday.

Dangerously dry conditions have prompted burn bans for communities across the Tri-State region.

Officials stress to still use caution when burning outdoors and to not leave large burn piles unattended.
