HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Officials say a contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans temporary ramp closures on U.S. 60 in Daviess County September 24 as part of the ongoing paving project on the east side of Owensboro.

The KYTC says the contractor will start ramp milling operations eastbound between KY 603, also known as Pleasant Valley Road, at the 19.6 mile point and KY 144 at the 22 mile point, then work westbound from KY 603 to KY 144. During milling operations, motorists should use caution as ramps will have restricted widths, marked by barrels. Flaggers will be present when necessary.

Officials say following milling, crews will begin paving operations. Each ramp will be closed, one-at-a-time for around an hour. Operations could be impacted by weather. If needed, work will be rescheduled.
