Charitable Gaming alliance to showcase electronic pull tabs in Evansville

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- A new Indiana charitable gaming alliance, PlayIN will join local members of Indiana’s Big Four veterans service organizations today to advocate for making electronic pull tabs available in Indiana. The showcase will take place at 1 p.m. at VFW Post 1114 in Evansville.

E-tabs are a digital form of traditional paper pull tabs, which are commonly used in charitable gaming. During the showcase, the alliance will discuss how charitable gaming funds benefit their communities and offer tours of an interactive bus that displays e-tabs technology. In addition to the showcase and tour, VFW Post 1114 will host a lunch for local veterans to learn more about the issue and how e-tabs can help to boost veteran service organization membership, particularly among younger veterans.

PlayIN was launched in August by Big Four leaders at American Legion Post 64 in Indianapolis. Similar events have been held in Fort Wayne, Moorseville, Indianapolis and Birdseye.
