HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Henderson Police Department arrested two burglary suspects following their discovery inside of a home in the 300 block of Turner Avenue on Wednesday.

Officers were dispatched to a home at 7:17 a.m., after a 911 caller reported he was alerted to a burglary by security cameras inside the home. Officers entered the home to search for the suspects, but were unable to locate them in the main area of the home.

After requesting a ladder from the Henderson Fire Department, officers entered the attic of the home, where they reportedly located Timothy Oliver, 52, and Amanda Yates, 46. Police say they found burglary tools in a backpack near the suspects.

Oliver and Yates were booked into the Henderson County Detention Center and charged with burglary.
