    Police say man was intoxicated when he crashed into home

    HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Police say a car hit a home on North Weinbach Avenue in Evansville on Friday.

    Evansville Dispatch received a call at 5:32 p.m. about a vehicle possibly hitting a home. EPD and Evansville Fire were sent to the scene.

    Police say a man was turning when he hydroplaned off the road and into the house. Police went on to say that he was intoxicated at the time of the crash. The driver was taken to be medically cleared. Once cleared they will be sent to jail.

    No one was injured in the crash. The extent of the damage done to the home is unknown at this time.
