Home Team Friday, high school football postponed due to weather

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Home Team Friday and numerous high school football games have been postponed due to the remnants of Hurricane Helene. Instead of the normal 10:35 p.m. CT start time on ABC 25 this Friday, the full Home Team Friday show will air at 9:30 on the CW 7 on Saturday, September 28.

Five tri-state football teams will still be in action this Friday night (all times in CT):

• Warren Central @ Daviess Co. – 7:00 p.m.
• Apollo @ Owensboro – 7:00 p.m.
• Madisonville-North Hopkins @ Graves Co. – 7:00 p.m.
• Henderson Co. @ Mayfield – 7:00 p.m.

Every other game scheduled for Friday, September 27 in the tri-state has been postponed to a later date.

Saturday, September 28 (all times in CT):

• Bosse @ Memorial – 11:00 a.m.
• Boonville @ Mt. Vernon – 11:00 a.m. *11:00 a.m. is the correct time, not Noon*
• Mater Dei @ North – 12:00 p.m.
• Harrison @ Vincennes-Lincoln – 12:00 p.m.
• Tecumseh @ North Posey – 12:00 p.m.
• Washington @ Pike Central – 12:00 p.m.
• Mt. Carmel @ Paris – 1:00 p.m.
• Jasper @ Central – 3:00 p.m.
• Castle @ Reitz – 3:00 p.m.
• Gibson Southern @ Heritage Hills – 4:00 p.m.
• North Knox @ Princeton – 5:00 p.m.
• Union Co. @ McLean Co. – 5:00 p.m.
