    Search ongoing for escaped inmate who “walked away” from Webster County jail

    HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Kentucky State Police is actively searching for an inmate who escaped from the Webster County Detention Center early Saturday morning.

    In a release from Kentucky State Police, it is said Gregory Munsell “walked away” from the jail in Dixon at approximately 6 a.m..

    Munsell is said to be described as 5’11”, 174 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eye.

    Authorities say he was last seen wearing an orange jumpsuit and has a “significant identifying” cross tattoo on his left arm along with tattoos on his chest, back and ankle.

    Police are asking anyone with information on Munsell’s whereabouts to contact (270) 676-3313 or submit tips through the KSP website .
