OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) – An Owensboro teacher is recognized for her decades of excellence and inducted into the Kentucky Teacher Hall of Fame.

Linda Kingsley has been a staple of Owensboro Public Schools since the 1960s as an educator. Officials with the Kentucky Teacher Hall of Fame say the long-time English and debate teacher has made an impact on countless lives.

Kingsley says this recognition was surprising, as teachers tend to forget about the good they do for others.
