Free pets available to adopt at Daviess County Animal Care and Control

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Officials say BISSELL Pet Foundation will sponsor adoptions at Daviess County Animal Care and Control for adult dogs and cats from October 1 through 15. The event is the “Empty the Shelters” event.

This event offers free adoptions of adult dogs and cats ages 10-months and up from the shelter.

The free adoptions last until October 15. People can bring a form of identification and apply for adoption in-person or adopt online . A list of available animals can be found here .
