HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Formerly escaped inmate Tylee Thompson was caught by U.S. Marshals in Covington, Kentucky , and now he’s back in the Henderson County Detention Center.

Officials with the Henderson County Detention Center confirm he is back in the jail.

Thompson escaped from custody in January after authorities say he used a trash bin to pin a deputy against a wall and ran off while helping remove trash from the jail.
