HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The West Side Nut Club’s Fall Festival is in full swing with festivalgoers filling up Franklin Street. The success of the festival has put a strain on food booths, and some are now in desperate need of volunteers.

It Takes a Village and the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #73 both took to Facebook to announce their need for volunteers.

It Takes a Village says in their post they will need to shut down their booth if they don’t find help. They specifically need volunteers to run their merchandise table until 6 p.m.. They ask those interested in volunteering to contact them at (812) 485-0007 for any questions they may have.

The FOP Lodge #73 says in their post they are in need of help Thursday afternoon to help prepare pork. They asked those interested in volunteering to go to their booth at 3 p.m. Thursday.
