    The Tri-State heroes helping with Hurricane aid

    HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — People across the Tri-State have come together to help those affected by recent hurricanes. Below is a list of those lending a helping hand to those impacted:

    – Evansville City Church working with Two Men and a Truck

    Evansville City Church is working with Two Men and a Truck to bring aid to the south-east.

    They collected items from Sunday to Thursday. The church took to Facebook to announce it is loading up the last of the donated supplies.

    – First Federal Savings Bank working with Gibco Motor Express

    Gibco has a semi-truck parked at the First Federal Savings Bank’s Operations Center and is accepting donations of essential items.

    The semi will remain parked until its full. It will then be transferred to the disaster areas for donation drop-off.

    A Facebook post by First Federal Savings Bank says the truck is now halfway full.

    – Henderson Emergency Management

    The Community of Henderson got together to donate supplies for their Hurricane Helene relief drive.

    The drive started Monday and will end Sunday at 5 p.m..
