14-year-old boy airlifted after falling at Garden of the Gods

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Emergency crews were called out to Garden of the Gods after officials say a 14-year-old had accidentally fallen on the trail.

Equality Fire Chief Cole Baker tells us the fall happened on Monday afternoon around 12:30 p.m..

Chief Baker says the boy “slipped and fell” approximately 15 to 20 feet.

He says the boy was stable at the time of arrival and was airlifted to an out-of-state hospital.

The extent of his injuries and his current condition are unknown at this time.
