Search continues for hold-up suspect in Evansville

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Evansville Police continue the search for a suspect in a hold-up Monday night on the city’s east side.

As we previosuly reported, this hold-up happened just before 10 p.m. at the Family Dollar store on Lodge Avenue.

Police say a man wearing all-black and a ski mask came into the store demanding money.

A witness said the man told the cashier he “might die tonight.”

Officers say after getting the money, the man ran from the store.

A search that included drones and K-9 units, spanned several blocks.

Police say no suspect has been located.
