EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — A spooky experience is helping feed families in the Evansville area.

“Dead Bird Productions” is hosting an outdoor haunt on 12 acres of land, located on Claremont Avenue, with aliens and a creepy cabin.

The organizers are also taking canned food donations to give to local shelters and churches.

We’re told every canned good brought is a dollar off the ticket price.

The food drive will happen next Friday and Saturday.

The haunted house experience will be available during select dates in October and will conclude on November 2.

Ticket options include standard 2 outdoor haunts, no-scare children tickets, movie passes and a VIP ticket.
