HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – Hydration Station, a nonprofit organization based in Evansville, is set to open its third outdoor station to the public on Monday, October 28 on the campus of the Old National Bank headquarters in downtown Evansville.

Officials state this new station will provide free, ultra-filtered water powered by reverse-osmosis filtration. Officials say stations are able to function from temperatures ranging from -10 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit, enabling them to be open year-round.

The last station was installed with the opening of the Cascade Waterfall Station by Evansville Water and Sewer Utility’s Sunrise Pump Station in May 2024. Officials say that location has saved more than 28,400 16-ounce plastic water bottles.

Officials also say with this addition, Hydration Station will have five stations in downtown Evansville, with more on the way.

Jack Deig, Hydration Station Founder and CEO, hopes this station will assist members of the community by providing easily accessible water for walkers, hikers and other members of the community.
