Czech Republic students in Owensboro treated to farewell meal

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Foreign exchange students from Owensboro’s sister city in the Czech Republic were treated to a farewell dinner before on Sunday before returning home.

The students from Olomouc have been staying with families in Owensboro. During the dinner, the students got to experience an “American Thanksgiving” for the first time.

The eight students will remain with their Owensboro host families until October 29.
