Power restored after late night crash into a power pole

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- Power has now been restored to thousands of Evansville residents following a crash at Wimberg Road and Dana Drive where a car hit a power pole according to CenterPoint officials.

At one point, over 2,000 CenterPoint Energy customers were left without power. Workers were able to get that number down to just a few hundred about an hour after the crash. This morning all customers are back online according to the CenterPoint outage map .

There is no word on any injuries from that crash.
