A Central Florida man won a $1 million prize playing a $5 scratch-off game from the Florida Lottery. The Florida Lottery recently announced that 53-year-old Charles Kelly, Jr., of St. Petersburg, claimed a $1 million top prize from the $5 Gold Rush Doubler scratch-off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

Lady Lake’s Renovated Pyramid Park Opens To Public
Lady Lake’s Pyramid Park has opened to the public. The park got a makover and looks terrific. Earlier this year, the Lady Lake Parks and Recreation Department reached out to area children to gather their input in choosing between two new playground options. Through votes taken at The Villages Elementary of Lady Lake, the Lady Lake Library and via the Town’s Facebook page, a majority of children opted for the design option ultimately chosen.
