Thirsty Thursday: Strawberry Cloud at Tasty Tart
Champaign-Urbana’s weather has been wild this week. I didn’t know it was going to rain so much! It got me really thinking about the sky, and so, this Thursday, I’m thirsty for a strawberry cloud at Tasty Tart. The little Neil Street tart shop offers tarts, of course, but they also have café drinks like lattes, teas, hot chocolate, and this pretty pink sip. Tasty Tart’s strawberry cloud ($4.49) tasted light and fluffy, dare I say, like a cloud. With a housemade strawberry syrup and fresh sliced strawberries, this drink was a delicious glass of strawberries and cream. I loved how creamy and sweet the fruity smoothie was. Anyone who liked strawberry milk as a kid would enjoy this, for sure. The ice level and sweetness for drinks can be customized (100%, 70%, 50%, 30%, or zero) in person at the shop or in online orders.
