PAXTON — The Ford County Public Health Department has found a new home. Mike Short, president of the board of health, said Wednesday that he and newly hired Public Health Administrator Paul Abraham have selected an approximately 3,000-square-foot building at 1502 W. Illinois governor J.B. Pritzker said there’s no chance the Bears can get a deal for a new stadium in 2024. Not if they want to fund it with taxpayer money at least.
