Gail's Ryann Phillips ends Olympic journey, finishes strong
LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - For Gail-native Ryann Phillips, her 2024 Olympic pursuit ended Wednesday at the Chateauroux Shooting Centre. In the second day of Women’s Trap qualification at the Paris Olympics, she started the day hitting 21 of 25 clay targets in round four. From there, she only registered one more miss in the fifth and final round, but the deficit was far too much to overcome as she ended the day in 16th position. Only six could advance to the gold medal final.
