75-year-old Annandale man injured in motorcycle crash Thursday
A 75-year-old man went off the road on a motorcycle on Thursday evening and crashed. He survived the injuries. At around 6:20 p.m., July 18, the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office went to the site of a single vehicle motorcycle crash. During a recent legislative session, ATV Minnesota got thousands of dollars added to the Grant-In-Aid fund. Clubs are able to request a supplement once they have spent most of their existing funding. ATV Minnesota President Ron Potter says that clubs need to keep at least $1 in their current grant account otherwise it will be closed because you can’t supplement a closed account. (Pine Island, MN) — Governor Walz is promising a southern Minnesota family a full investigation into their daughter’s death. Walz visited Pine Island yesterday to talk about state resources available to new farmers. He was asked about the charges brought against Minnesota State Trooper Shane Roper following a May crash that led to the death of Owatonna’s Olivia Flores. Walz called the crash “tragic” and said the investigation is needed to determine if policy changes are needed. Roper is facing multiple charges, including manslaughter and criminal vehicular homicide.
