Anonymous donor gives $200 million to Catawba College
ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Catawba College received a $200 million anonymous gift, school leaders announced. It's the third "transformative" donation received by Catawba College in three years. Officials say the money will be used to support environmental education and sustainability. Two-thirds of the donation will provide unrestricted funding for the school and one-third will be directed toward environmental education.
