Eagles Trade Proposal Sends 23-Year Old Browns DE to Philly
Philadelphia Eagles veteran defensive end Brandon Graham has announced that the upcoming 2024 season will be his final one as a player. The Eagles have multiple impressive pass rushers on their roster, with Bryce Huff inking a three-year deal worth $51 million this offseason, and both Graham and Josh Sweat promising to be significant contributors, as well. One analyst thinks the team may want to add some depth at the position, however, particularly considering Graham’s impending departure.
Bryce Harper makes MLB history, joins ‘double century' club
Bryce Harper’s latest home run against the Guardians was yet another historic blast for the Phillies 2-time NL MVP, for multiple reasons. Career home run no. 330, a 2-run opposite-field shot off Cleveland starter Carlos Corrasco, was his 100th career home run at Citizens Bank Park. He’s the third player to reach the century mark in the 21-season history of the Phillies’ home field, joining Phillies legends Ryan Howard (198) and Chase Utley (129).

News and Notes: Guardians Defeat Best Team in Baseball
The Guardians beat the Phillies 3-1 behind the strong pitching of Ben Lively, Cade Smith, Hunter Gaddis and Emmanuel Clase to open the weekend series in Philadelphia. The Guardians had an expected batting average of .213 in the game, barely topped by the Phillies’ own weak xBA of .221. But, if you look at the top 10 exit velocities in the game, only two of them were hit by Guardians and only one of those balls got the hitter on base (David Fry’s RBI single in the first). So, in other words, this was vintage disgusting baseball. It even featured a great bunt from Bo Naylor and great running from Andres Gimenez to score a run. Angel Martinez singled home the other run.
Fact Check: Protesters Did NOT Deface Philadelphia's Liberty Bell, Did NOT Burn Flag On Capitol Grounds
Did protesters deface the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia or burn the U.S. flag on the Capitol grounds as a video on TikTok claimed? No, that's not true: Video and photo evidence show that they defaced a replica bell in Washington, D.C. While protesters did burn a U.S. flag in Washington, media coverage and a statement from Vice President Kamala Harris prove that did not happen at the Capitol. There is no reporting or National Park Service statement that protesters put graffiti on Philadelphia's Liberty Bell on July 24, 2024.

I saw this trending on Facebook yesterday and it broke my little former-server heart. Uno's Pizzeria and Grill is officially closing up shop up in Gloucester County.
