A Washington woman who was struck by a vehicle near Pleasant View apartments in Washington died two days later in the hospital. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at approximately 12:15 a.m. July 5, Carrie Riebold, 44, was laying in the roadway on Pleasant Drive in the Pleasant View Apartment Complex near apartment building 600. As a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze made a right turn from the apartment building parking lot to Pleasant Drive, the right side of the vehicle struck Riebold.
