Pierre City Commission To Meet Tonight
PIERRE, (KCCR) — Once again, there is not much sitting in front of the Pierre City Commission tonight. Another light agenda will greet the Commission this evening. The Commission will get an update on the StreetScan project in special business before considering a brief consent calendar. The calendar includes minutes from the July 23rd meeting, a promotion in the Library and the claims. A public hearing is scheduled for 5:45 pm. That public hearing is for the transfer of an alcoholic beverage license for D-J’s Clark-SAG Incorporated to D-J’s Convenience Store/D-M-D Incorporated. Only two items of unfinished business make up the bulk of the agenda. Commissioners will consider a street closure request for Crazy Days on August 3rd and declaring a sweeper as surplus for placement on the Purple Wave auction service. Commissioners will close out the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the community.
